The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to confirm the return of a handful of crucial pieces of the backroom staff for the gameday team.

Heading up the list of returning names is Assistant Coach Lee Richardson. Lee, who needs no introduction to the Wildcats fan base having spent the majority of his career in Swindon, will continue to support Aaron Nell on gameday and through the week.

Working through the week closely with the players, Lee’s wealth of hockey knowledge and experience of hockey in the UK will be well received by the team.

Alongside Lee, our head equipment manager Steve ‘Burt’ Bradford has agreed to return and work with the team once more. Burt will also be supported by Jeff Priest again for the new campaign. The work they do behind the scenes needs highlighting every season as the work they both do is second to none. They also both are huge personalities in our locker-room and will continue to be over the course of the year.

Supporting the team on a medical level will once again be Back2Fitness. They’ve been with the club for a few years now and the care they have given the team on gameday and through the week has been exemplary.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

Lee, Burt & Jeff were probably the easiest signings I’ve made all year. They’re all huge parts of our team and I cannot thank them enough for the hard work and effort they put in to support me and the team through the whole season.

Similarly, Back2Fitness have supported us all so well over the last few seasons. We’ve had brilliant care from the team there and as we always say, we hope they have a quiet season this year!
