It’s been a tough, long season and the players have played their hearts out – but who has impressed you the most? We want to recognise the hard work, the dedication and what it means to be playing for the Swindon Wildcats this past season, so we’re asking all fans to choose their winner in each of the following categories;
D-man of the Season
Much has been said about our D this season, and without doubt, they put in a stellar performance every night. Our D’s are always putting their bodies on the line and they are the unsung heroes when we win, but who will you choose? We have 2 goalies and 7 defencemen all wanting your votes, will you choose a stand-out player or a player who rarely gets a mention but is always consistent? It’s your choice, but you can only choose one!
Forward of the Season
Swindon has one of the strongest groups of forwards in the league so choosing your favourite forward will not be easy. How will you make your decision; will it be on individual goals scored, assists, teamplay or personality? You’ve got 12 players to choose from, it’s a right mix of imports, home-grown talent, players at the beginning of their career and players who are bowing out. Remember, you can only choose one player.
Player of the Season
Once you’ve voted for your favourite D and forward, the pressure is on to choose the big one. We’re looking for the fan’s favourite, the one player who demonstrates what it means to be a Swindon Wildcat. Think carefully before deciding, you need to consider his performance and his contribution to the team. Perhaps you’ll make a decision based on his stats, his personality, or it could even be that he’s just a great guy to have in Swindon. This is the big one Wildcat fans, so use your vote carefully.
