The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm that for the 22/23 NIHL the two Alternate Captains will be Tyler Plews & Chris Jones.
Both players have been crucial parts of trophy-winning teams in Swindon and will continue to play a key part in any successes over this season.
This news does mean that Stevie Whitfield has stepped down from his Alternate Captain following his testimonial season. We’d like to place on record our thanks for everything he brought to the role and will be a key part of the team moving forward.
Head Coach Aaron Nell said:
Plewsey & CJ were my go-to choices when I knew we had two alternate captains to appoint. They’re big characters in our locker room and provide leadership all over the ice.
We hope they’ll continue to be a big part of our team moving forward and along with Bully will give us excellent leadership throughout the season.’
