The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats can confirm that Scottish-born defenseman, Reece Kelly, will be returning home on a full-time basis following an exciting offer from the Glasgow Clan.

While we were of course looking forward to Reece’s arrival, we are looking forward to watching his development as he makes his move to the EIHL. Rest assured ‘Cats fans, Head Coach Aaron Nell is actively looking for a replacement for Reece, and we will keep you updated in the coming weeks.

Glasgow Clan met the terms in Reece’s contract that allow his release, which will see Reece follow his dream of playing full time in the Elite League for the upcoming 23-24 season. We wish Reece and the Glasgow Clan all the best for the coming season.

On Reece’s move back to Scotland and to the Elite League, Head Coach Aaron Nell said – “Obviously losing a player like Reece is a difficult one, but we didn’t want to stand in the way of his dream to play in the Elite League full-time and I wish him nothing but the best. I’m still extremely confident in the team we’ve built this summer and hope to have news on Reece’s replacement soon.”
