On Saturday evening The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats returned to the Better Link Centre to take on the Raiders for the first time in Swindon this season.

The first period would prove to be one of the most lethal periods for the Wildcats as they raced into a 5-0 lead after twenty minutes of hockey. Firstly Aaron Nell converted an early powerplay opportunity at the five minute mark. In the last 6:30 of the third period the Cats added four goals, another two on the powerplay, through Glenn Billing, Gael Lubwele, Tomasz Malasinski and Chris Jones as the scoreline finished 5-0.

In the middle stanza the Wildcats continued to add to the scoreline; this time Gael Lubwele adding a short handed goal at 24:11. With the game naturally taking its course the rapid scoring began to calm and the Raiders continued putting pucks on net. This finally broke the Cats defence in the final minute as Coy Prevost got the Raiders on the board and the score was 6-1 at the 40 minute mark.
