Ok folks, you may have heard this news on the Wildcats Unleashed Live Show last Tuesday, now it’s time to make this official. We’re going back to the Link, so let’s use the opportunity to bring people together, share stories of our enforced lock-down and show our support for the Club and what it means to you. Our options are limited because work on the facility is still ongoing but this shouldn’t deter us!

We’ve decided to hold a quiz and we want you to be there. This will be a social event, a lot of the players will be there and it won’t be focused on hockey. Instead it will be a general knowledge quiz, maybe there will be a round or two of hockey-inspired questions, but we want it to appeal to everyone. How much, when and where we hear you ask! Good question, here are the details;

  • Date – Tuesday 12th December
  • Time – 6.30pm start, finish sometime around 9pm
  • Venue – Studio 2, The Link Centre
  • Cost – £5.00 per person (payable on the night by card or cash or in advance via bank transfer)
  • Rule #1 – maximum of 6 in a team (or <5 with a player if we can). If you’re not booking as a team, don’t worry, we’ll allocate teams so everyone can play
  • Rule #2 – this will be a fun night so expect to laugh, scratch your head and share in the delight that we’re finally getting back on home ice
  • Food and drink – there will be food and drink available to purchase

Your next question is probably – how do I book? That is a good question – all bookings have to be made via the Supporters Club – so please send an email to supporters.club@swindonwildcats.com and you will receive confirmation of your booking. Teams will be announced on the night and we’ll even have a prize for the winning team. So c’mon Wildcat fans, sign up now or ring around your friends and get a team together. We have limited spaces, max of 50 people plus players so don’t be disappointed, book now.

To whet your appetite – if you can answer this question then you should 100% be putting your name down to join us – in what year did Good Friday last fall on Boxing Day?
