The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm the arrival of Ed Bradley to the roster for the 24/25 NIHL Season.

Ed is one of the premier British Defenceman in the National League and has previously spent time with the Bees IHC and the Bristol Pitbulls. Last year he contributed a combined 40 points from the blue-line split over the two teams, with 9 of them being goals.

With the departure of Stevie Whitfield from the blue-line, Aaron Nell has wasted no time in securing a replacement for the new campaign, which gets underway in September.

Ed is a 23-year-old defenceman who also spent time in North America both in the USA and Canada. On an international level, he’s played for Team GB at Under 18 and U20 levels before returning to the UK in 2021.

Head Coach Aaron Nell had the following to say after confirming the first new face on his roster for 24/25.
“Bringing Ed in is a move I’ve wanted to make for a couple of years now. I’m delighted to finally get it over the line. With Whits moving on we needed to find a top 4 defenceman to slot into our lineup and Ed is exactly that.
He’s dynamic, he moves the puck really well and his best days are still ahead of him. I’ve worked with him at Team GB before and I’m excited to get him here next season and I think he’ll be a massive part of our D next year.”

British defenceman are tough to find and we’re pleased to have Ed in Swindon next year!
