Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to confirm that Stevie Whitfield will once again be sponsored by The Glenister Family and will also have Annette Duffy as his associate sponsor for the 2018/2019 NIHL Season.
The Glenister Family (Martin, Steve & Simon) will be his primary sponsor for the second season in a row. All three members of the family are over the moon to commit themselves to one of the most committed players of the team again.
“It’s a great pleasure to sponsor Stevie again for the forthcoming season. We have been watching hockey in Swindon since the early 90s. Throughout this period of time the club has always produced great local talent, and it’s fantastic to see local players playing an important role in the team and long may this continue”. Said Martin.
Steve added, “We are pleased to be able to sponsor Stevie again for the upcoming season. Not only is he my favourite player, but he always gives 110% for the club in every game. As a fan we couldn’t ask for anymore!”
The third member of the family, Simon, went on to say, “It’s an exciting time to be a Swindon Wildcats fan and we are thrilled to continue our sponsorship of Stevie for what we hope will be another memorable season for him and the rest of the team!”.
Their thoughts are echoed by Stevie’s associate sponsor Annette Duffy who said: “I was thrilled to hear Stevie had been re-signed for the new season. He’s been one of our key players all year and I’m so pleased to have the opportunity to extend my sponsorship for another season!”
Having secured the first returning sponsors for the new campaign Swindon Wildcats Commercial Manager Sally Price added:
“I am thrilled to welcome back both Stevie’s Full and Associate sponsors from last season, they were both straight on the case as soon as we announced Stevie’s return, that just goes to show what dedicated fans we have and what a respected player Stevie is. Thank you all for your support again this year, welcome back!”
