Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce that we will be taking on Streatham IHC in two challenge games at the start of the 18/19 season.

The games will be played in Swindon on Saturday 8th September with the return fixture in South London on Sunday 9th September.

The games will be a stern test for both the Wildcats who are looking to build on the success of 17/18 and for Streatham who are looking to improve on their performances from last year too.

Jeremy Cornish is building a very strong side ahead of the new campaign with arrivals such as Leigh Jamieson, Rupert Quiney and Damien King joining the likes of Michael Farn and Adam Carr in the line-up.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said: ‘Playing Streatham will be a real test for the team. Last year they were a very hardworking team and they have only improved over the summer. Jeremy Cornish teams are built to win and despite it being a challenge game they will be out to win. We will have to make sure we have the same attitude, it should be two really good games of hockey.’

Tickets will be on-sale for the home fixture later in the month, so please keep an eye on social media channels for more information.

We will also be confirming details of the Pre-Season Launch BBQ in the next couple of weeks as the 18/19 NIHLS1 season draws ever closer!
