Yes Cats fans, it’s what you’ve been waiting for – it’s the big ‘Wish for a Warm-Up Shirt’ competition. Have you ever said to yourself, ‘I wish I could win a shirt’, then maybe your wish is about to come true. Over 9 weeks, starting in February, you could win something very special, and totally unique to the Wildcats.
So, what is it all about? Let us tell you. The Supporters Club is thrilled to launch a new competition for you to win one of the players warm-up shirts, sponsored by Bowman House. All the warm-up shirts will be won before the end of the season and this is how you can win one. They will not be auctioned or sold, every shirt is up for grabs.
It’s very simple to take part, all you need to do is buy a wish from our warm-up list. There is a new list each week, and the list will be for a particular player’s shirt. You need to buy a wish, each wish has a number and will cost £2.00. You can’t choose your numbers (so it’s just the same as SOHB), but the more wishes you have, the better your chances of winning a warm-up shirt are.
We’ll be announcing whose shirt you can win at the start of each week and it will be promoted all over our socials. You can choose to buy wishes during the week, or you can wait for game day and purchase at the Supporters Club desk. The deadline for each week’s draw is 8pm every Sunday, then we move onto the next draw.
All the winners will be announced on the Supporters Club socials every week and your shirt will be presented to you (and maybe signed if you want) by the player at the end of the season. Details of this will be announced nearer the time.
The next big question you’re probably asking is when does it start and whose shirt can I win? Good question, we’re starting with ‘The Leaders of the Pack’ – Bully and Plewsey. The competition starts on the weekend of February 3rd and 4th but you can get ahead and start buying your wish to win their shirts from this Saturday 27th January.
